Rise ye up, take your journey and
pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thy hand, Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to
possess it, and contend with him in battle. DEUT. 2:24 many have good intension but less contention. Good intensions will
give you good plan but you have to advance to contention for its realization.
There is no open door without adversaries lined up.
Any Devil you do not resist today shall surely rise up again against
you. As you contend for your second chance benefits this day, I see you take delivery.

There is always a place called “THERE” in
all the realm of life, both secular and sacred. It is available in ministries, business, offices, etc .I prophesy on your
head, that from now on, you are the next to move from “HERE” to “THERE” whatever bad hand work of
the devil in your life shall be expelled through faith in Christ Jesus. Amen.

MY “LOT” MUST GO
Scripture:
Genesis chapters 12 and 13

It was perhaps the best job I have ever had. A middle level management position with a big
organization
and the prospects of moving up the management ladder were high. I had no
intention of looking for another job or working
for another organization. I knew the calling of
God was upon my life, but I thought I would continue to work there until
the Lord made His
plan plain to me.
All of a sudden, my boss
started to bring up issues against me for no just
reason, and it wasn’t long before I realized that she was just
trying to get me terminated. At
that point I started to pray more. I also fasted and had other people praying for me.
I could
not entertain the thoughts of losing the job, but the Lord knew it was time to move forward. I
eventually
lost the job and just about a week after losing the job, the Lord spoke to me again
about writing a book.
You see, I had wanted to write
a book for a while but I had no time, I
had a full time job. Since I was busy pursuing another degree and since I have
a family (wife
and two boys - ages 4 and 2), I was just too busy to listen to God. The job was a distraction
in my
life and I did not realize it. It was a “Lot”.
Genesis 12:1 says, The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave
your country, your people and your
father’s household and go to the land I will show you. The instruction was specific:
Leave
your country, people and father’s household. Even though Abram was determined to honor
God by obeying
these instructions, he was weak with dealing with the issue of Lot, his
nephew.
Without any invitation Lot was
determined to go with Abram anywhere he went. Gen
12:4 says, So Abram left as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him (emphasis
mine). On another occasion in Genesis 13:1, the Bible says, So Abram went up from Egypt
to the Negev,
with his wife and everything he had, and Lot went with him (emphasis mine).
Abram loved Lot and did not know that
Lot was hindering his relationship with God.
Eventually, Abram began to lose
his peace over Lot as quarrelling ensued between Lot’s
herdsmen and his because the land could not support them
together. Abram finally decided
that it was time for them to part ways. Gen 13:14-15 says, The Lord said to Abram after
Lot
had parted from him, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east
and west. All
the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring for ever.
There was
no record that
the Lord spoke with Abram since he left Egypt until now. You see, “Lot” is a
representation of that particular
thing you are attached to but is hindering your relationship
with God.
Note that if you don’t deal
with your “Lot”, you will always fight unnecessary battle
and it will soon steal your peace and become an
obstacle to your receiving from God. Your
Lot may be a habit, a partner in a relationship, or a job. Whatever it is, I
admonish you in
Christ Jesus’ name, it is time to let go of that “Lot”. It has hindered you long enough
and you
need to hear from God once again.
Prayer:
Every “Lot”
hindering my relationship with God, I break your hold over me and I command
you to leave in Jesus’ name.
